Aquamarine and Schorl on feldspar
Erongo Mountains, Namibia.
This cluster of Aquamarine and schorl sit perfectly atop a large block of creamy white feldspar. Several perfectly terminated Aquamarine crystals rise from a complex nest of schorl and snowy secondary feldspar. One Aquamarine stands as a large crystal above the others. All aquamarines are penetrated and included by schorl as is typical for this locality. The pale blue of this aquamarine is surmounted by its form and stature.
