Faden Quartz Cluster
This is a large self-standing cluster of Faden Quartz. One side is a long series of thick double-terminated crystals creating a solid large tabular piece almost 12cm long. A white faden line distinguishes this crystal. The other side consists of a chaotic assortment of tabular, chlorite included interlocking clusters at opposing angles. A bit of the host sandstone shows on the back, but mostly the back is coated in dark-green chlorite mini crystals. Although the large tabular crystals are etched on the tips, creating a sawtooth edge, no damage from collecting is visible. This piece display well from all sides. Enjoy.
