This Selenite Chrysocolla combination is a superb specimen from the Lily mine in Peru. Beautiful clear blades of Selenite included with tufts of turquoise to white Chrysocolla. Amidst the Selenite, Chrysocolla also forms in the crusts as part of the host rock. We dealt in this material years ago, but never with one with such fine, perfect bladed Selenite. Apparently this one had been sitting in storage for years in Tucson. This mine was famous for it’s production of blue Andean Opal, and clear Selenite included with Atacamite and Chrysocolla.
